An astronaut is a person trained to travel and work in space. Astronauts will continue to work aboard the International Space Station (ISS), and will also fly NASA’s new Orion deep space exploration vehicle. Orion will carry the crew to space, provide emergency abort capability, sustain the crew during the space travel, and provide safe re-entry from deep space return velocities. Grades: 4th Grade - 9th - 12th Grade

Rebecca Jaramillo is the Director of the Glen Helen Raptor Center in Yellow Springs, OH. She works to train and rehabilitate injured birds in hopes to release them back into the wild.  Rebecca provides educational outreach to schools and the community to help them better understand how we can help birds in our ecosystem!
